Every session runs the same way: 90 minutes, in three parts.
It's the same small group each week, and each session builds on the last.
On this week's focus, so you know what we're practising and why.
A gentle yin or restorative start, then breath, movement and noticing what you feel. I guide you the whole way.
At the end, if you have any. You only share what you want to.
You stop bottling it up and battling through the day. You feel connected and calm in yourself and in your body.
You get to know yourself and what you want, and you're not scared to speak up. You speak your needs at work and at home, instead of people-pleasing and overworking to make things work.
You back yourself, and you give yourself down time. You feel more at peace, free to be you, and safe and secure within yourself. You feel alive again.
"I do analyse everything. It's made me realise how much I really have robbed myself of feeling."
— Embodiment session memberAt the start and end of each term you fill in a short questionnaire, so you can see for yourself what's changed.
Embodiment isn't something you understand.
It's something you practise.
For years I held everything together. I hit every goal I set and still felt empty and disconnected, from myself and from the people closest to me. I'd worked it all out in my head, but I couldn't feel it in my body. I had to learn how to feel, starting with an A4 page of feeling words.
I've spent seven years since learning how to change that, and the last several teaching women on the North-West Coast to do the same. These sessions are the practice that changed everything for me.
"Tonight's session is going to change my life forever."
— Embodiment session member"I'm feeling so much gratitude to my body and what I've been learning about myself through these embodiment classes."
— Embodiment session member"I feel like these embodiment sessions are giving me more confidence to be with myself. The moments when I notice my mind wandering outward. I am pausing, breathing and realigning. Very grateful to be getting guided through this process."
— Embodiment session member"I feel like I'm really having a lot of light bulb moments at the moment. And I really feel like it comes from the embodiment classes."
— Embodiment session member"Life changing. The transformation I have had after working with Della, now on two occasions, have been phenomenal. Not only during coaching, but the skills I have taken away each time to help support myself beyond."
— Rheanna"Once I understood the root of it — not just intellectually, but in my body — everything changed."
— Brooke"She helped me understand what love actually is. How to feel it, and how to receive it. I am not the same woman I was three months ago."
— Emma"She held this perfect balance of compassion and accountability. I felt genuinely safe and genuinely challenged. Both at the same time."
— JessicaChoose the in-person group in Wynyard or the online group in the booking calendar. It takes two minutes: $198 for the 7-week term, or $33 for a drop-in session once the term has started, if spots are left. You'll get a confirmation email with everything you need.
Wear something comfortable. Bring water and a blanket if you'd like one. If you're joining in person, mats and pillows are provided. If you're joining from home, find a quiet, comfortable space where you won't be interrupted and have room to lie down. I guide the whole ninety minutes, so there's nothing you need to know or prepare beforehand.
You leave calmer, more at peace, and with the pressure off. Each week you take home one tool to use on your own, so when your brain won't switch off or you're about to lose your cool, you can pause, breathe and come back to yourself.
"It's almost like increasing my toolbox of life. I feel like it's really able to boost my self-awareness so that I can help and guide myself."
— Embodiment session memberThe term is the best way to come. It's the same small group each week, and each session builds on the last.
Bookings for the whole term open first. Once the term starts on 1 December, any spots left open up as drop-in sessions.
I work with women who are capable, driven, and quietly exhausted — women who want to feel alive in their own lives again, not just competent at running them.
The problem is you were never taught how to be in your body. You were taught to push through it. So you achieve, you over-give, you manage everyone's feelings but your own, and somewhere along the way you stop being able to feel much at all. It makes you wonder if something is wrong with you. Nothing is. Your body learned to always be in go-mode, and it never learned it could stop so you could be in flow mode.
I know how that feels, because I lived it. That's why I run Women's Embodiment Sessions: ninety minutes, weekly, in Wynyard or live online, guided through the same process every time — breath, movement, stillness, coming back to your body. Book the term, come as you are, and leave each week with something you can actually use.
You don't need another book or another five years of understanding yourself. You need a room where you're allowed to stop performing. And start connecting to yourself.
Term 3 starts Tuesday 1 December. Tuesdays 5.45–7.15pm at 59A Jackson St, Wynyard, with free street parking, or Fridays 5.45–7.15pm online on Zoom. All 7 dates are in the booking calendar.
It means feeling what's going on in your body, instead of only thinking about it. Most of us analyse everything and push our feelings down to get through the day. In the sessions you use breath, gentle movement and stillness to notice what you feel, so you can work out what you need.
No. There's a short, gentle yin or restorative start, but the session is guided embodiment: breath, gentle movement and noticing what you feel.
You don't have to stick to it on your own. I guide you through the whole ninety minutes every week, with the same small group, and each session builds on the last. You take home one tool each week to use in your everyday life.
Not at all. You don't need any experience. This isn't a workout and there's nothing to be good at. Most of the session is breath, gentle movement and stillness — you can do all of it lying down.
No. There's time for questions at the end, and you only share what you want to. What's shared in the room stays in the room.
Both are normal and neither is a problem. Some women feel a lot the first time, some feel nothing for three weeks. Your body sets the pace.
Some women feel a difference in the first session. For others it takes a few weeks. That's why the term is seven weeks, and why you fill in a short questionnaire at the start and end, so you can see for yourself what's changed.
Yes. If you're not sure it's for you, come to a drop-in session first. Bookings for the whole term open first, and once the term starts on 1 December, any spots left open up as $33 drop-in sessions. The term is still the best way to come, because each week builds on the last.
No. Refunds aren't given, because once you've booked, your spot is held for you and can't go to anyone else. If you can't make a Tuesday, join that week's Friday session online instead. If you're not sure it's for you, come to a drop-in session first.
Same content, same ninety minutes. Come in person if you're near Wynyard and want to be in the room with the group. Online you're in your own space with your camera on or off. Many women prefer it.
You can join the online session that week instead. Same session, same content — so a missed week never means a missed session or lost money.
Comfortable clothes, water, and a journal and pen. In person, mats and pillows are provided, and you can bring a blanket if you'd like one. Online, you'll need a quiet space at home with room to lie down.
Yes. Book a spot each.
No. It's embodiment practice, not therapy or medical treatment. It sits alongside therapy well, but it doesn't replace it. If you have ongoing pain, see your GP or physio as well.

Where your nervous system can soften. Where you remember what it feels like to be fully alive. That's what these sessions are.
Come each week, and let your body do what it was always designed to do — return to itself.
